We have a standard philosophy around creating and deleting content: anything that can be added to the Mobile App Studio by dragging can also be deleted by dragging, and anything created by clicking a button can be deleted by clicking a button.
Click on the icon to the left of the item or container and drag over to the App Preview.
The App Preview will change to a trash can.
Select OK to confirm that you want to delete the content.
What if I get an error message "Cannot Delete Container"?
If the container you are trying to delete has sub-containers within it, the Mobile App Studio will not allow that container to be deleted. This protects nested content from getting deleted unintentionally or an entire root menu container from being removed accidentally.
To delete a container with sub-containers, first delete any nested sub-containers, working back to the original container. This is a good chance to verify that all the content getting deleted is the correct content that should be deleted!
Once all sub-containers are deleted, the top level container can be deleted by dragging over to the App Preview.
Things to remember:
- To delete, simply click on the icon to the left of the Item and drag it over to the App Preview.
- You cannot delete a container if it has another container nested inside. Be sure to clear out a container before trying to delete it.
