Self-Serve Password Reset:
Our app credentials password reset allows an app user or employee to reset his or her own password for your employee engagement app. This means less requests coming to you, the MAS admin!
In order for a user to have this functionality, they must have at one time logged into the app successfully. A new app user will still need to be added into the system by a MAS admin.
Here's how it works:
Step One:
Launch app and select "Forgot Password." Follow prompts.
Step Two:
Open the automated confirmation email that is sent to the email provided. Copy and paste the temporary password into the login screen on the app.
Step Three:
Create a new password. Once a new password is created, the app user will be allowed inside of the app.
Things to remember:
- To access the "Forgot Password" functionality, the app user must have logged in successfully at least once.
- Generated passwords are case sensitive. To avoid typos, best practice is to use the copy and paste function on a user's phone.
- Generated passwords are only good for 72 hours. If a user attempts to use this password after the designated time, it will not be accepted.
