Create and maintain a team:
You know the saying, "It takes a village." Well, it's no different with keeping your app relevant and current.
The key members of this group include the MAS lead, someone from HR, someone from the field, and an executive sponsor.
Our most successful customers meet monthly to review app stats, recognition/suggestion feedback via the app, content backlog, and push message calendar.
The average number of MAS admin users is 3, but we have seen up to 12. Some tips for accounts with multiple content creators include:
- Once someone has access, they have access to everything. Assign each person a "swim lane" or area they maintain. It is best if each person is working in a different root container. That way their progress doesn't overwrite another team member's work.
- Decide together a consistent date/time where one person clicks Make it Live. This will push all changes to the app.
Listen to your users:
Content upkeep shouldn't just be up to the committee, however. Talk to your employees. Sometimes it's best to listen at the water cooler. Employees will give you the brutal truth about what's good and not-so-good about the app. Double down on the good, and either scrap unpopular areas or reimagine them.
